Minecraft Mob List and all new Mobs And Monsters

Minecraft mobs are the living entities of Minecraft - short for mobile, these can be cute, and sometimes see aggressive creatures roaming the numerous biomes in the blocky world. They can respond to you, other players and other mobs.

Minecraft mobs are prone to the same physics and environmental changes that affect players, such as getting caught in flames or drowning. They can be attacked with weapons or killed, and hostile mobs drop rarer items and resources.

In Creative mode, Minecraft mobs won't attack you. However, Survival and Hardcore modes allow for three different behavioural categories that are neutral, hostile, and passive.  Minecraft servers Utility mobs such as the iron golem and snowgolem can be created to help you against hostile mobs. Trusting mobs can't be tamed, but have a special behaviour when interacted with and include dolphins, ocelot, and even the adorable Minecraft fox. Here's an overview of all the monsters and mobs that can be found wandering the vast Minecraft landscape.

Minecraft passive mobs

Minecraft passive mobs will not attack you, and will flee when they are attacked. They can also breed, so you'll encounter babies in the same area. Most passive mobs can easily be tamed if they aren't already. Then there are the inhabitants of Minecraft villages, including traders and villager. Other farmyard buddies can provide resources, such as wool from sheeps or cows' milk.

Some mobs, such as wolves, will attack other mobs like sheep or rabbits. Llamas are more aggressive against wild wolves. Minecraft bees are found in plains or flower forests. You can also build beehives with honeycombs and wood planks.

Minecraft hostile mobs

Hostile mobs in Minecraft are aggressive and dangerous and can attack you within a certain distance, typically 16 blocks, without obstruction. Certain mobs can spot you up to 100 blocks away. Flying mobs, such as the Minecraft Phantom or the Minecraft ender dragon, will spawn above you and attempt to attack you. A boss mob is a special kind of threat that has greater detection range and greater health; examples include the Minecraft dragons that ender and the Minecraft wither.
